Making a Purchase

When will I receive my order?

As all Aurelium jewellery is made by me in my studio, please allow up to 2 weeks for your silver items to be handcrafted, packaged and dispatched. Please allow up to 2 to 3 additional weeks for gold-plated items. Please note that orders consisting of both silver and gold items will be dispatched together.

If you have an urgent request, please contact info@aurelium.co.nz before placing your order and I will do my very best to meet your required date, I usually can! Alternatively, check the Ready to Ship or One-of-a-Kind items which will be dispatched within 2 business days after purchase.

Orders have a 1 to 3 business day delivery time for deliveries within New Zealand (rural deliveries may take 2 to 3 days longer). You will receive an email with a tracking number when your order is on the way to you.

How much is delivery within NZ?

Free shipping is automatically applied for orders over $150. For orders under $150, there is a flat rate of $6.

Please allow 1 to 3 business days for delivery (rural deliveries may take 2 to 3 days longer).

Aurelium offers tracked courier delivery via Courier Post within NZ. All items delivered via courier require a signature on delivery so please ensure that there is someone to sign for the goods, or advise at checkout if you would like to request no signature. Please provide a physical address when placing your order as I cannot post to a PO Box address.

You will be emailed a tracking number when your order is on the way. Please note that delivery times are an indication only. Aurelium will not be held responsible for delays by the courier service, nor for any lost or missing deliveries.

Do you deliver overseas?

Yes. Aurelium offers economy tracked or courier delivery via NZ Post International Air Mail for deliveries outside NZ. All items sent via courier require a signature on delivery so please ensure that there is someone to sign for the goods. Please provide a physical address when placing your order as I cannot post to a PO Box address.

You will be given a tracking number via email when your order is on the way. Please note that delivery times are an indication only. Aurelium will not be held responsible for delays by the courier service, nor for any lost or missing deliveries.

AUSTRALIA 

Economy tracked: Flat rate of $22. Please allow 3 to 10 business days for delivery.
Courier: Flat rate of $30 (highly recommended). Please allow 3 to 6 business days for delivery.

REST OF WORLD

Economy tracked: Flat rate of $60. Please allow 6 to 10 business days for delivery.

DUTIES, TAXES & CUSTOMS CLEARANCES

When purchasing from outside of New Zealand, or requesting a delivery outside of New Zealand, please be aware you may be subject to import duties, taxes and customs clearances levied by the receiving country or other overseas authority once a shipment reaches said country. These charges are not included in the prices on this website. The recipient is liable for all import duties and local taxes for their order, which must be paid prior to being released from customs. Please contact your local customs office for further information on applicable duties, taxes, restrictions and fees.

How will my payment be taken?

All online payments are processed using a credit card via Shop Pay or with Paypal, both secure payment gateways.

Do you offer Afterpay?

Yes, Afterpay is available to purchase all items.

Returns & Exchanges

Can I return an item?

I’m confident that you will love your jewellery as much as I do. However, I understand that it’s hard to know if something will suit you when you buy online. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your jewellery, you can return your purchase within 14 days of receipt and I will issue a full refund (excluding postage costs). Please email info@aurelium.co.nz and I will advise the return address. To be eligible for a refund, your item must be unworn, in the same condition in which it was received and in its original packaging. Any returns after this time will not be accepted.

Any item that is returned is done so at the sender’s expense. For all purchases from outside of New Zealand, please note that taxes, duties and customs charges incurred for returns are the responsibility of the customer.

Please note that the returns policy applies only to jewellery purchased through the Aurelium website. For jewellery purchased through an Aurelium stockist, please contact them directly to discuss their store policies.

Returns are not available for samples or end-of-line items.

Can I exchange an item?

If you wish to exchange an item for another size or style please contact me with the size or style you require within 14 days of receiving your purchase. All items must be unworn, unaltered and in their original packaging. Any difference in price, as well as the postage cost, will be payable before the item is dispatched. The postage cost to return the item is the responsibility of the customer.

In the unlikely event that the goods are faulty, I will cover the postage cost.

Exchanges are not available for samples or end-of-line items. Please ensure that you purchase the correct ring size.

What is your repair policy?

I stand by my work, 100%. However due to the handmade nature of my jewellery, there may occasionally be times when an item has a manufacturing fault. If this is the case, please contact me and I will repair or replace your jewellery at no charge within 12 months of purchase. For items purchased through an Aurelium stockist, please contact them directly to discuss.

Please note that handmade jewellery is delicate and should always be handled and worn with care. Normal wear and tear on a jewellery item is not considered a manufacturing fault.

If you require a repair that is not a manufacturing fault, please contact me to enquire about costs.

The Jewellery

What materials do you use?

All Aurelium jewellery is made using high-quality sterling silver so it is durable and long-lasting.

Gold-plated jewellery is plated with 2 microns of 14ct gold over sterling silver.

How will my jewellery be packaged?

Items will be beautifully packaged in a signature Aurelium black card box. If your order is a gift and you would like to include a handwritten note, please specify the message at checkout.

Will my purchase look exactly like the photo on your website?

As each item of Aurelium jewellery is crafted by hand, there will naturally be slight variations between pieces. The textured designs are individually hammered and imprinted, therefore they will not be identical. This is a bonus as you can rest assured knowing that the jewellery that you have chosen is 100% unique, just like the wearer!

How do I measure my ring size?

Can I order a necklace with a longer chain?

Yes. Every Aurelium necklace comes with a 45cm sterling silver cable chain but a longer chain is available on request. Please contact me to enquire.

How can I look after my jewellery?

What gold-plating do you use?

Aurelium jewellery is plated with 2 microns of 14ct gold-plating.

Gold-plating can last from months to years depending on how well your jewellery is cared for, however it naturally wears off or loses its shine over time. To restore your jewellery to its original condition, re-plating is recommended. Please contact me if you require assistance with this.
